City of Brantford, Ontario 2020 - 2024. PD2/3 EWST Class EA Study. AECOM Project. Responsible for general project management tasks such as organizing and leading technical project meetings, communicating directly with the client, keeping track of project scope, budget, and schedule. Manage and complete technical memorandums and key deliverables. Manage technical engineering, environmental and planning staff to complete Municipal Class Environmental Assessment. Manage and communicate with sub-consultants and vendors to complete specific project tasks.
Lambton Area Water Supply System, 2020 - 2022. Lambton Area Water Supply System (LAWSS), Master Plan Update. AECOM Project. Responsible for keeping track of schedule and budget and invoicing the client for work completed. Managed project on task level. Provided project direction and oversight to EIT staff to complete the tasks. Liaison with client to understand needs and desires. Maintaining a solid working relationship with the client by promptly replied to emails and answering concerns regarding project status and technical approach. Directing technical questions to technical experts and relaying information back to the client.
Lambton Area Water Supply System 2019 - 2021. AECOM Project. Alvinston – Integration with LAWSS. Provided project direction and oversight to junior staff to complete the project. Liaison with client (OCWA) to understand the needs and desire to develop a work plan. Managed project budget and schedule to deliver the final report to the client on time.
Burnaby, British Columbia 2016 - 2018. AECOM Project. Drainage and Environmental Projects (2017). Prepared applications for authorization for work in and around a stream to the Department of Fisheries and Oceans under requirements of the Fisheries Act. Prepared Notifications of Instream Work to the Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development (FLNRO-RD) under the requirements of the Water Sustainability Act. Conducted five-week continuous wet-weather water quality sampling and in-situ water quality testing in-line with the Metro Vancouver’s Monitoring and Adaptive Management Framework. Conducted in-stream sediment grab sampling. Reviewed and analyzed stormwater quality results. Coordinated with the vendors regarding design requirements of oil/grit separator technology based on the results of in-stream sediment sampling.
University Endowment Lands, Vancouver, British Columbia 2017 - 2018. AECOM Project. Block F Development. Ensured all work was completed in accordance with the Federal and Provincial regulations such as BC Environmental Management Act, Water Sustainability Act, Fisheries Act, and Riparian Area Regulations. Conducted weekly monitoring of the development site during tree harvesting and land clearing activities with emphasis on site water and stormwater management. Provided oversight for Erosion and Sediment Control Plan development and implementation during construction activity.
University Endowment Lands, Vancouver, British Columbia 2016 - 2018. AECOM Project.Integrated Stormwater Management Plan (ISMP). Developed an Integrated Stormwater Management Plan (ISMP) for the University Endowment Lands. Reviewed and summarized background stormwater related information. Consulted with key stakeholders regarding stormwater management issues within the study watershed. Presented the results of the collected information to the client and key stakeholders, including presentations to the Community Advisory Council. Led the discussion and development of a Vision for stormwater management at UEL. Developed implementation plan for ISMP, while considering funding and enforcement strategies. Developed monitoring and assessment program to allow UEL stay on track with implementation of the stormwater management strategies.
Simon Fraser University Campus, British Columbia 2016 - 2017. AECOM Project. Stormwater Management Strategy, Simon Fraser University. Developed a stormwater management strategy. Compiled stormwater monitoring data, prepared maps and summary memorandums. Conducted site investigation visits to verify data accuracy. Facilitated a “Visioning” workshop with the SFU facilities staff to gain better understanding of stormwater issues. Developed an action plan for the implementation of the Stormwater Management Strategy and presented the results to the client and key stakeholders.
